We are inviting schools who are participating in the Nuffield Early Language Intervention (NELI) programme to help us understand the impact of the programme on children’s language skills by agreeing to participate in this independent impact evaluation by NFER.
How to take part in the research
In order to carry out this impact evaluation, we are looking to recruit a pool of schools willing to take part in the research. It is important to note that the eligible schools have been sent an invitation to participate in this impact evaluation. If you have received this invitation, please follow the instructions provided in order to sign up. If you have not received an invitation and would like to hear more please contact: ImpactNELI@nfer.ac.uk
Schools that help us in this way will specifically contribute to the evidence base about the impact of NELI, and will receive a thank you payment of up to £250 for their contribution towards the impact evaluation.
The evidence will help us understand the impact of the programme when delivered at national scale and how best to implement the programme in the future.
The evaluation report will be publically available on the Education Endowment Foundation’s (EEF) website in summer 2023.
For detailed information about participating in this impact evaluation please see the School Information Sheet.
