What is this research about?
The NFER is undertaking national research to understand and address the impact of the current Covid-19 pandemic on schools and pupils. The work is funded by the Nuffield Foundation and NFER.
Following surveys of primary and secondary mainstream schools in 2020, this part of the study will be conducting follow-up telephone interviews with senior leaders who said they were willing to be contacted again.
What does the research involve?
The interviews will take place in late April and May 2021. We will contact senior leaders via email and/or telephone using the contact details provided by senior leaders in response to the previous surveys.
We are keeping all contact details securely and will only use them to contact respondents about this research.
If you wish to contact us about this, please email us at: CV19Schoolresponse@nfer.ac.uk
The findings from the previous research can be found here. NFER is aiming to publish the results from the interviews in July and September 2021, in order to inform policy and contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the impact of COVID-19 on education.
