Inequality and Education

NatCen held a conference to discuss inequality and education from the early years to young adults, which brought together various research and researchers working on this topic. The conference provided opportunities to discuss underlying trends, capture the diverse effects of the pandemic, showcase successful interventions and explore policy interventions to provide children with a better start both in the UK and around the world.

NFER's Research Director, Jude Hillary, joined the 'Reducing Disadvantage' panel where he drew on NFER’s research in this area, including our recent report 'Investigating the changing landscape of pupil disadvantage'.
