About the Panel

Membership of NFER’s Teacher Voice panel gives teachers the opportunity to share their professional views on a varied range of important educational issues and policies. Clients such as the Department for Education, the Social Mobility Commission and the Sutton Trust submit questions to the teachers on the panel, using the results to aid their thinking on pupil activity and policy.

Teachers on our panel tell us that they enjoy taking part because they value giving their professional views and appreciate that the range and quality of the topical questions we raise with them.

To thank our teacher panel members for taking part in our surveys, and to recognise their efforts, each member either receives a £5 voucher for themselves or can choose for the money to be donated to one of our selected charities on their behalf.

Since the survey started in 2008, the generosity of our teacher panel has raised a significant amount of money for charity.
