In March, NFER will be publishing its 7th annual report on the teacher labour market in England. This report, funded by the Nuffield Foundation, monitors the progress the education system in England is making towards meeting the teacher supply challenge and the Government’s pledge for 6,500 new teachers by measuring the key indicators of teacher supply and working conditions.

This webinar, chaired by Jon Severs (Magazine Editor at Tes), will hear from NFER’s School Workforce Lead, Jack Worth, on the key findings of the report, highlighting the latest trends in recruitment, retention, workload and pay.

Panellists include:

  • Jack Worth, School Workforce Lead, NFER
  • Manny Botwe, ASCL President and Headteacher, Tytherington School
  • Anna McShane, Director, The New Britain Project

More panellists to be announced soon.
