The Academy Funding and Finance Conference

As of January 2019, 75% of secondary schools and 32% of primary schools are now academies, granting greater control over their finances and the curriculum they teach. However, the financial situation for many academies across the country has been significantly impacted by additional costs, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. While some increased funding has been guaranteed by the government, academies must evaluate their approach to finance and securing funding in order to reduce the impact of Covid-19 over the next few years.
