NFER is undertaking research investigating the impact of the increase cost of living on schools, teachers and pupils.

The research will explore the:

• impact of the cost of living on pupils and their households
• support your school is providing to pupils and how this may have changed
• impact of the cost of living on teachers
• impact of the cost of living on day-to-day provision in school, including funding and staffing.

The research will involve two surveys – one of senior leaders and one of teachers. The surveys will be administered to all mainstream and special schools in England and then be linked to administrative data to help us understand the impact of the cost of living on schools.
