Education Select Committee written evidence - The impact of COVID-19 on education and childrens services

In March 2020, the Education Select Committee opened an inquiry into the impact of COVID-19 on education and children’s services. The inquiry is looking at how the outbreak of COVID-19 is affecting all aspects of the education sector and children’s social care system and will scrutinise how the Department for Education is dealing with the situation.

Following the publication of NFER’s first series of reports analysing ‘Schools Responses to Covid-19’, NFER has submitted a summary of its key findings and recommendations to the Education Select Committee to aid with the Committee’s examination inquiry.
