The National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) will today (Monday 29 June) bring together a range of key decision makers to explore the impact of Covid-19 on student recruitment for the launch of T Levels.
After first being announced in the 2017 budget, T Levels are set to become a reality from September, as part of the government’s ambition to overhaul technical education.
The preparations of providers who will deliver the first T Levels in digital, construction, and education & childcare has been a particular area of interest for NFER over the past 18 months.
This invite-only webinar will feature input from senior Government officials, providers, industry representatives and sector bodies.
The event will be chaired by Maddie Wheeler (Executive Director at NFER), with lead contributions from a select group of panellists. Participants will then have the opportunity to ask questions and share how they are addressing some of the challenges that have emerged as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
During the session, new insights will be shared from a set of pre-webinar questions which NFER administered with providers and sector representatives.
NFER will report on the learnings from the discussion more widely in late July.
