Improving Outcomes for Disadvantaged Children

Government Events are holding their National Pupil Premium Event to discuss the latest guidance and strategies for effectively using and spending pupil premium funding.

NFER’s Chief Social Scientist, Angela Donkin, will be chairing the event and providing insights throughout the day. Angela will be drawing on research from NFER’s report ‘Investigating the changing landscape of pupil disadvantage’ which explores the implications for both the measurement of the attainment gap and for how government funding for schools is being targeted towards pupils from more disadvantaged backgrounds.
