The National T Level Introduction and Implementation Conference 2021
Thursday 27 May 2021
09:00 - 16:10
Online Event
In September 2020, the first wave of T Levels was introduced in schools and colleges. However, the implementation of this new qualification has experienced challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. In an NFER survey from July 2020, a third of education providers reported that they were ready for the industrial placement ‘to a small extent’ or ‘not at all’. While greater funding has been announced by the government, education providers must evaluate their strategies and partnerships for introducing and implementing T Levels to deliver technical education and address national skills shortages.
Chaired by NFER’s Suzanne Straw, Deputy Head of Centre for Policy and Practice Research, and Maddie Wheeler, Director of Communications, this conference held by Government Events will address real concerns for education providers in introducing and implementing T Levels.
Join this event to hear the latest initiatives and collaborative approaches from national and local leaders working to deliver T Levels. Participants will be able to share experiences and challenges faced in introducing and delivering T Levels through networking, engaging with best practice case studies, and sharing ideas for moving forward.
