International Reading Education Forum

The CommonWealth Magazine Education Foundation are holding their annual International Reading Education Forum to familiarize educators in Taiwan with global prospects. The theme for this event is “Restart Reading”.

NFER’s Head of Assessment Research and Product Development, Liz Twist, will be giving a keynote address. Liz will draw on research from NFER’s report ‘The Impact of Covid-19 on pupil attainment’, which finds that the impact on progress in reading has been greatest in Years 1 and 2 while the impact of the pandemic on mathematics progress is greater across Key Stage 2.
