The 2nd Annual Schools & Academies Event

The Institute of Government and Public Policy held their Second Annual Schools and Academies Event, which featured a combination of key government and educational organisations. There were opportunities to discuss and debate important issues such as mental health, behaviour management, income generation, governance and funding. 

NFER's Head of Classroom Practice and Workforce, Dr Ben Styles, gave a keynote address on 'Educational Recovery for the Youngest and Oldest Children in the English School System'. Ben drew on findings from NFER’s recent report 'The Impact of Covid-19 on Pupil Attainment'.
